North Star Petition Services is operated by Joel L. McDaniel through Consultant Services of MN — his Minnesota consulting practice, established in 2019 and in good standing with the Minnesota Secretary of State. With decades of experience in HR, business operations, and systems management, Joel brings the precision, accountability, and attention to detail that bankruptcy petition preparation demands.

Joel also holds a real estate closing agent license issued by the Minnesota Department of Commerce, and has personally closed well over 2,000 real estate transactions for lenders. In closing work, every document must be executed flawlessly and notarized correctly — a single misplaced signature or missed notarization can derail an entire transaction. That same exacting standard for document accuracy is precisely what he brings to every bankruptcy petition.
